Trombonist Pete McGuiness -- best known for his work with Maria Schneider and his own big band, the Pete McGuiness Jazz Orchestra -- was selected to join the faculty at William Paterson University in Wayne, NJ to teach jazz arranging. McGuiness will also be featured with the William Paterson Jazz Ensemble for the university's “Jazz Room" series on Sunday November 6 at 3pm on the campus at the Shea Arts Center.
